Welcome to EverJo

EverJo is an independent production company for Feature Films, short films and online content. EverJo was created in 2019 as an homage to DesiLu - the production company created by Lucille Ball and Desi Arnaz. By creating entertaining content and quality films, EverJo will prove to be the next Hollywood Power Couple of our age.

Josephine Hies

Josephine is a film and web-series producer born in Germany. After moving to Los Angeles she started her career as an Associate Producer for All In Films. In 2019 she founded EverJo Entertainment with Everett, and produced their first web-series during the pandemic while quarantined in Germany.

She joined the Producers Guild of America in 2023.

Her producing credits span several award winning Feature Films including Miranda's Victim, The Italians, The Runner and the upcoming Under The Stars.

Everett Aponte

Everett is a Puerto Rican filmmaker and web-series writer/director. After graduating from the University of Texas, he produced corporate videos for Lincoln Property company from 2005-2012. During this period, Everett shot several award-winning short films and features in Austin. He worked as an Assistant Director in Germany from 2012-2013. He then moved to Los Angeles in 2014 and joined the DGA as an Unit Production Manager in 2019 and has worked on several Feature Films with Josephine.

In between these movies, Everett directed four award-winning Short Films and two Music Videos. He also teaches Filmmaking for Actors at the LA Acting Conservatory.
