T4DR Reshoot Complete!
Yesterday we shot 2 scenes that we missed from the principle photography. One scene I know how we missed, because I remember telling our script supervisor to remind me that we have to shoot a scene, but we accidentally shot the wrong scene so I ended up with 2 versions of a different scene. The other one, I have no idea how we missed it, except for that these scenes we in the last two episodes, on the last days of shooting, so possible result of exhaustion. I dunno. Anyway, I didn't find our until a year later when I finally edited those episodes. So we shot those yesterday. Now, earlier in the week, I met with the DP for the reshoot, who was the gaffer in the principle, Allen Di. During that meeting he pitched me an idea for the final scene of the final episode, and damnit - it was a great idea. So, we also shot that yesterday. It was quite a lot to put into one day, but we did it and I personally think it's worth it. The orignal ending for the finale did feel a little flat, but now, I think it's beautiful and just great. Couldn't be happier. We still got a lot of post-production work ahead of me, including VFX, sound mixing, and color grading, while Josie hurtles through publicity and social media, but we're doing it! No rest for the wicked!
