Robin and Marvin had a Blast at ECCC
Seattle is a great city. Bigger than I expected with light rails and streetcars, etc. The only negative thing about this trip was the weather - it was wet and cold. Fortunately the Comic Con was inside, but our friends, with whom we stayed, had a house that was about a 25min walk from the convention. And we felt silly paying the fair to ride a subway for just two stops. Plus, we'd get coffee or tea from a different local coffee shop each time. We saw asome great panels. My favorite part was seeing William Shatner - first time seeing him in person. Twas glorious. We made some friends and did some karaoke. But then we got sick - the weather, I swear. So we had to push ourselves to make tiktoks and walk the floors. I got a vinyl caller Hero of Time, which is the soundtrack to Ocarina of Time. It's been on the playor non-stop since we came home. We also bought hot sauce, and realized we didn't bring check-in luggage, so we had to ship it home. Oops! Overall a great Convention and would do it again,,, with hopefully better weather. Coming up WONDERCON!!!
